Making “Boomtown Ghosts”

We’ve been hard at work writing and recording our new album, “Boomtown Ghosts”, and we can’t wait to share it!

We began work on the CD at Howlin’ Dog Recording Studios in December, and we finished up the recording in mid-January.  Since then it has been a whirlwind of mixing, mastering, and preparing the CD for release.  We recently received some pre-release versions of the CD and have sent them to various radio stations, music reviewers, and “buyers”.

After a very successful crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter, we decided to hire a promoter to help us get our music out to as many industry folks and listeners as possible.  We’ve just started working with Rocky Mountain Music Network, LLC, and hope for good results!

So now it’s a game of waiting and preparing.  We have a couple of CD Release shows coming up, the first at the Salida Steamplant Theater on March 25th, so we’ve been practicing with our bass player, Jahil Bragassa, and soon start rehearsing with Bruce Hayes and Mark Minor for our show.  This will be a full band show, so lot’s of work to do!  Then our second CD release show will be in Alamosa, CO, at the beautiful Society Hall performance space.  The amazing Don Richmond will join us for that show, along with Jahil  That is going to be a fun show!  I hope you can join us for one of them!
